The OMB guitar is designed as an out of the box solution and it is easy to start enjoying the band accompaniments. When receiving it, you will need to go through a short learning curve, watch the tutorials, and mainly learn the basic options the app offers.
As any other musical instrument, the more you dive into it, learn and try, the more possibilities will open.
All you need is an iPad / iPhone and you’re ready to start.
The OMB guitar is just like any other guitar, you connect it to the amp through the ¼ inch jack. It can also be used as a regular guitar.
The digital virtual band accompaniment comes out of the app. Use the headphone jack on your mobile device or iPad to connect it to an amp/speaker (Regular ⅛ inch aux cable).
If your device doesn’t have a headphone jack, use a converter dongle from the charging port to the headphone jack.
This way you get 2 channels, one for the guitar and one for the digital accompaniment and can reach a perfect balance.

Backer here- this guitar came in and I thought really nothing of it at first, and did nothing but take it out of the box. But after really getting some time to sit with it during the pandemic I will tell you the quality of the instrument blew me away. It sounds full and rich like a high end guitar. It’s sound and quality is better than my mid grade guitars (Ibanez, Yamaha, Washburn) and it sounds just as warm, maybe a bit brighter than my Martin. My other guitar friends also were shocked at how good this no-name guitar sounds!

Wow! Way more than I thought I ordered. I thought I ordered a new “technological toy” but I see it’s a real product for the pros, there’s a ton of styles in the app and the options are insane. I think it’s worth telling people that this product is a ” game changer” and is not another toy for children. PRS – It’s been ten years since I bought my last guitar. It seems much has changed since then. OMB developed A new way of playing; I am sold. this guitar has become my new #1. Out of the box, it had a easy setup, but due to the App download I needed some guide’s, please put more guidance in your tutorials.

I was a little doubtful when I read all the good reviews and I do not have an Apple device but after a conversation with the OMB representative I realized that it is possible to buy a second-hand device, the second I wrote on my Facebook if anyone has a second-hand device for sale, someone wrote me that he wants to buy a new iPad and is willing to sell his. When the guitar came I had a problem with the calibration but after a few tries I succeeded. I really want to order another electric guitar with OMB and I’m waiting for a good deal.
